From Palermo: take the A29 motorway toTrapani and then cable-car to Erice. From Marsala: Take the "Via del Sale" (S.P. 21) to Trapani and then cable-car to Erice. From Mazara del Vallo: take the A29 motorway to Trapani and then cable-car to Erice. From outside Sicily, by boat: on arrival at the port of Trapani, follow signs to Erice and then take the cable-car to Erice summit. From outside Sicily, by air: from the Trapani "V. Florio" airport, take the S.P. 21 "Via del Sale" to Trapani and then cable-car to Erice.
